Sessions & Fees

Ellie Boyarski’s usual and customary fees are $265.00 for the initial clinical interview/intake, and $175.00 for follow up and on-going therapy appointments. The clinical interview/intake (typically 3 sessions) is 90 minutes, while follow up and on-going therapy sessions are typically 60 minutes.

However, shorter or longer sessions are available, depending on the presenting concern and treatment plan. The fee structure for longer or shorter therapy is $45/quarter hour.

All applicable fees must be paid at the time of service. For other professional services, arrangements will be discussed separately. On-going therapy is customized to the client’s specific needs and symptoms, and will last as long as the client and therapist agree that there is improvement, progress, and symptom relief.

Insurance

In order to comply with confidentiality and protect your privacy, Ellie has opted to accept payment via cash or check only. Please contact Ellie for further clarification, and she will be happy to review this personally with you.

Although Ellie does not accept insurance, she would be happy to assist you in obtaining a reimbursement of her fee through your out-of–network portion of any insurance plan.

Ellie will gladly provide a bill for you to submit to your insurance company, which would include a DSM diagnosis. The policy holder/responsible party is responsible for obtaining any authorizations/certifications required prior to services, as well as for follow up on any outstanding claims. Payment is expected at the time of the appointment.
